The Pilates Reformer class has an emphasis on rhythmic, flowing sets of movements, which increase strength, flexibility, and stamina, while improving alignment, balance, and coordination. The result of the workout is a uniformly developed body with strong back, abdominal, and gluteal muscles; we call these the “Powerhouse.” This class requires concentration, breath, control, and precise movements. Focusing on your deep, stabilizing core muscles, you will also sculpt your arms and legs.
