It’s not just for women! Men are always welcome in class!

This is a FREE class, with a requested donation to various organizations that service women. Now through March, all proceeds will go to Planned Parenthood. This organization is near and dear to me, as I went to college far away and went to Planned Parenthood for my annual exams. When someone very close to me was nineteen, during her routine exam, the doctor found cervical dysplasia, or pre-cancerous cells on her cervix. Cervical dysplasia usually causes no symptoms, and is most often discovered by a routine Pap test. The prognosis is excellent for women who receive appropriate follow-up and treatment. But women who go undiagnosed or who don’t receive appropriate care are at higher risk of developing cervical cancer. Thankfully, it was found early and removed. She is now a healthy 40-year-old with four (gasp!) spectacular kids. Without proper healthcare, many women wouldn’t be so lucky.
